I like it, thought it was good. BUT, I love black beans & we kind of created my dinner together (the waitress & I). My parents ordered 2 items, both with black beans & there was an unusual amount of black beans in their dish.I didn’t mind the black beans & ended up putting their awesome salsa all over the other dishes and chowded down.Bottom line, love the food; just know they use lots of black beans and you’ll want to add the salsa or other sauce.
Excellent. The menu displays it all – the selections are simple by context, rich in content. No hyperbole, the quesadillas are destined to become gold medalists at the Southwestern Food Olympics. Especially the steak quesadilla, served with a side of house salsa and sour cream, is definitely a must-try. I have never come across a place where the intrinsic taste of a selection could be so fulfilling. By rule of thumb, the Original Flying Burrito makes great promises to the guests. By the platinum rule, it certainly is capable of providing services beyond one’s expectations. Inversely proportional to the Law of Diminishing of Marginal Utility, the more visits one makes, the higher the loyalty one becomes to the restaurant. Love this place. In terms of rendering of services, the staff team is fantastic. The individuals are always willing to provide the best services possible to the guests, while remaining very casual. That is how the art of professionalism works there. When you talk about plugging the energy in interpersonal dynamics, the staff members do a great job it. Especially the bartenders who are responsible for making a guest feel special about themselves, and they’ve jackpot. That’s a dead-on bullseye in human relations. Very nice people with great sports television.
Get the OBX taco! The only thing better than the food is the service. We love this place and have been going for a while. By far my favorite local place to eat and drink in north Raleigh.
Been coming here for over a year now and I have NEVER been disappointed. Best bar staff in north raleigh by miles. I have been very impressed with everything on the menu I’ve ordered so far and love bringing my family here or bringing home take out. Without a doubt my favorite place to relax after a long day’s work.
American sports bar atmosphere with no Mexican feel. Food was good but the service was mediocre. We live across the street and will not be back.
I am SOO happy I decided to stop by. They have a lunch special, $2.50 tacos from 11-5 on mon-sat. Tacos are my JAM, and these tacos hit the spot. The pulled chicken taco with BBQ sauce and slaw was a surprise to my palate, the fried chicken taco with a mango salsa was equally as delightful. I dont even really eat meat, but these sounded good… And they were!! Best wishes to Flying Burrito for many years of business!!
Don’t order Taco’s. The burritos themselves are good, hearty and worth the money. Been there several times and never disappointed with the Burritos. This time I tried the taco’s.. it was my own fault for not asking, but you only get 2 to an order.. and you would think for $10 you’d get at least 3.. I guess it’s true when you Assume, you………. Well needless to say I will not recommend the tacos due to their charging as much for a burrito but giving you far less for your money… As for the Burritos… they are delicious.
