Suffers from Identity Crisis. In the 10+ years I’ve been going to New World, I think they’ve changed owners more times than NCSU has changed chancellors. As a result the coffee shop suffers from a serious identity crisis. Sadly the current regime seems content on blas coffee, food, and atmosphere. The one thing that can be said for it is the customer service has vastly improved over the previous owner. Hopefully the food and drinks improve in turn.
Awesome!. I went over to New World Coffee at the insistence of several of my neighbors. I met a friend for coffee and some knitting. The atmosphere was great. I really enjoyed the frozen mocha that I had, and my friend enjoyed her coffee and biscotti. The baked goods are great too – the owner makes most of them herself. The staff who work there are incredibly friendly and really set the place apart from chain coffee shops!
Nice and cozy place for a Sunday afternoon.Frozen cappuccino was really good.
Milky latte. My small $3.75 latte tasted like heated milk with a hint of espresso!Waste of money.Nice looking place but go for brewed coffee instead
