Just ok. Not the greatest tasting Chinese food, but the ingredients are fresh and the place looks clean. It is good to have a Chinese take out in the area.

We have ordered take out twice and both times really fresh and delicious. No errors and the last order was for 5 of us and a big order. So far no complaints ! Everything we ordered was good and fresh .
Terrible food, terrible service. I ordered takeout, when I got home I realized one of the entree’s was wrong. I called the resturant and sat on hold for 5min. They said I could come back and pick up the right entree. I drove back to the resturant and waited another 15min. The food tasted they had gone next door to Harris Teeter and warmed up a couple of frozen TV dinners. I am guessing by the lack of people in the resturant I am not the only to have this experience.
Confusing – great and awful. I ordered three items for my first visit to Peace China: Hot and Sour Soup, Steamed Dumplings, and Singapore Noodles. The hot and sour soup was a good dish. There was plenty of flavor and it was fairly typical for that soup. The dumplings were fantastic! Homemade steamed dumplings are surprisingly difficult to find – and these did not disappoint. If I come back, it will be for the dumplings. The Singapore noodles, on the other hand, were a total disappointment. This might have been the most bland and flavorless dish I’ve ever received from a restaurant. The menu describes this dish as spicy and in an Indian curry. I would give this a 0/10 for spiciness, and I could not see any spices or herbs whatsoever in this dish. I ate a few bites thinking to myself that it’s an embarrassment to use the word curry in association with this atrocity. The shrimp, noodles, and vegetables seem to have been thrown together in a stir fry pan, but then they forgot to put anything else on there such as a sauce – or even a few spices. If this had not been a take out order, I would have certainly complained. The only positive thing I can say about this dish is that the shrimp were not overcooked and were actually quite enjoyable despite lacking any seasoning.
Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and very good.
Delicious. I was expecting a normal sit-down style restaurant, but this is one where you order at the counter, take your number to your table and wait for your food to come out. In the meantime, you get your own drinks, sauces, etc. Even the to-go containers are self-serve.I ordered the Vegetarian Singapore and hoped for the best – most restaurants of this style make salty foods swimming in grease with mushy noodles and overly thick sauces (we all know those places). What came from the kitchen was a beautifully prepared dish with a lot of detail in the presentation. The flavors were well balanced, nothing was greasy or salty or over-cooked. I could have eaten the whole thing in one sitting but it was so good I had to save some for later!Prices are reasonable, but they seemed to have switched from metal flatware and ceramic dishes to plastic and paper plates (so much for that beautiful presentation). Really is a turn-off for dining in, I’ll be switching to-go so I can eat it on real dishware at home.
