Food was mediocre. Popcorn shrimp had very little seasoning fairly bland. The pasta and shrimp dish, the shrimp had alot of flavor the pastic was pure garlic, at leadt 10 large chunks of garlic on the plate, way to much oil. Can not recommend.
Our first visit was the best! 2nd was so-so, and our 3rd visit back in November 2015 was the worst! Our server (Diamond) was strange in that she exhibits both nicety and rudeness on and off like a light switch during the course of her serving us. Weignored her rude responses thinking it was a very busythat day, and it must have been stressful for her. But, a server always makes a great deal of difference! so in the end had to write a review on how she treated us that day! She even charged us for 2 dishes that we did not order and whilst we were contemplating about the details of our receipt, shecame and grabbed the receipt and told us, it was a mistake and quickly corrected the amount. What weird show of behavior really! One of the dishes we ordered was the Mediterannean Tilapia, it was a small piece ofTilapia withbroccoli on the side, that’s it! we thought the price for that was quitecostly! We had to wait awhile forour food. The much touted Calabash chicken was not up to par that day either! Clearly, will not go back to Fatz anymore! hiring juvenile servers, and inconsistency with their food, stops us from going back.
Great Place. The food has always been great each time I have been there. The staff always properly trained to handle big crowds. My favorite dish if they still have it is the Calabash chicken. Very family oriented atmosphere and prices are average for this type of restaurant. A great addition to Lenoir.
