I love the atmosphere day or night! Great with the bar side or family side!! Great service very friendly and truly care what u think of the food. They always make sure everything is great; not just good! Everything I’ve tried is GREAT & FRESH!! From the southwest egg rolls to the wings to the ribs.. The enormous burgers are absolutely delicious!! To the buffalo wrap or Philly cheesesteak! My son loves the home cooked mac & cheese! Great place, service and food any day of the week (btw lunch specials are awesome!!)!

The food last night was awesomeGreat service too
I had such an enjoyable experience!! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was even better. They had a live band which was another plus! The place was pretty busy, however, our server made sure to take care of us on a one on one level instead of running to her other tables. We will definitely be back!!!
Relaxing Atmosphere and Good Food. Decided to have an early dinner and decided to give Joey’s a try. Did not have any idea of what we would find but the online meny looked interesting. A bit eclectic and catering to a diverse range of taste but interesting nevertheless.Restaurant is located in a small strip mall that runs perpendicular to the main road so it’s not readily visible to anyone traveling the main drag in Denver. Once you know this, it’s not hard to find. When you walk in, you can tell that the clientele is a mixture of folks coming from all walks of live but mostly locals. If I had to categorize the restaurant, I would classify it as a very upscale Sportbar or Gastropub but the emphasis is on the food aspect as opposed to being a bar that serves food. When you walk in, you’re immediately greeted and seated by the hostess and is very well organized and efficeint. Server is there in record time to deliver menu and take beverage orders We placed our orders and while we were waiting, we observed the restaurant and patrons in it. It’s warm and friendly and very clean and a lot of people obviously enjoying themselves. Very pleasant surroundings. For her entree, my wife ordered a Petite Fillet with a Crab and Cheese Mornay Sauce with mixed vegetables on the side. My order was a Joey’s Special Burger which is a burger made with two 1/2 pound patties for a tota of 1 poiund of meat. Don’t worry, I just had my annual physical and my cholesterol level is very low so i can indulge in an occasional orgy of fat. For my side, I ordered fries and got an odd look and it wasn’t the the order came that I found out why. When this monster burger shows up, it’s help together with a knife and onion ring are stacked around the handle all the way to the top. In otder words, two fried foods.Took a few minutes but it was worth it. My wife gave me a bite of her steak and it was excellent. I’m very picky about fries and my fries were some of the best I’ve had laterly. The burger was excellent, good flavor but a tad dry. Probably came out a shade before my wife’s steak I would guess and had to wait. Nevertheless, it was still very good.Only complaint was toward the end of the meal, we did feel that they were trying to turn the table so they could accomodate more customers. Not sure why because the restaurant was only half full at that time. I will say that this is one of the hardest things to master in a restaurant and that is turning the tables while at the same time, maintaining a relaxed atmosphere and not making the patrons feel rushed. Getting there but needs a little work..On the whole, a very pleasant dining experience and we will be back.
Food was not good. Wings were greasy. My husband’s jambalaya was so mushy he couldn’t eat it. When he mentioned that fact to the server she just said sorry and moved on. Not until he moved his completely full plate to the edge of the table did she finally inquire as to whether there was something else he would like. My daughter in law’s meal may have been the best of the lot and she described it as banquet food.
