Not friendly at all. Hope it was just a young person having a bad day. Asked about a breakfast sandwich and was told to read the menu. Change was thrown at me, and neither of the people ever said thank you. Will not be going back.
Good Food … Small Portions … Poor Service. Tried the Savory Plum Cafe today and while the food was good, the rest of the dining experience left some to be desired.I ordered a Pastrami Panini with Cheese and my wife ordered a half and half which was half of Ham and Cheese Panini with a cup of the soup of the day which was Cheese and Biscuit.Granted the Pastrami Panini was very good, it was also very small with a minimal amount of pastrami on it. My wife indicated here half of a ham and cheese panini was also very good but again with a minimal amount of ham and cheese. The soup did not go over well at all and while my wife loves cheese soup, she did not even finish it.It’s a counter to table style restaurant where you order at a counter and they bring it to your table. The cashier had trouble entering the order and appearances were that she was not very familiar with the computer system. It then too almost 20 minutes to prepare two sandwiches or should I say, one and a half and when it was brought out, they forgot our teas. Then they could not figure out if we had ordered large or small sizes. Not well organized.The place is realatively new and the decor is nice and comfortable so at least that part works in their favor. For the area, the prices of their menu items are on the high side for the quantity that you get so in that respect, it’s not a very good value.The have only been open for a relatively short time so I will go back some time in the near future to see if they get the kinks out of their system.
