For a tourist- centered breakfast place, Joey’s does a marvelous job. My waffle, eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection- the coffee was a bit burnt, though. Still, strongly recommended.

Really Good Food, Friendly Service and Outstanding Biscuits!. Maggie Valley is a small community on the quieter side of the Smoky Mountains. There are only a few restaurants, but even if there were lots to choose from, I would seek out Joeys. It is a breakfast only place and is closed one day a week; definitely check their web site for days and hours. We went on a Monday, there was a steady business, but it wasnt crowded. I understand that weekends can get very crowded. The food is very good; solid breakfast fare. The omelets, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and corn beef has were very good, but the standouts for me were the biscuits and sweet tea. If may seem silly to focus on these simply things, but really they were really some of the best fresh biscuits I have ever had. And as a Southerner I have had a few biscuits. These were so tender and light, without falling apart. The tea was fresh brewed with just the right amount of sweetness. My husband was happy because they had rye toast, which in this area can be hard to find. Beyond the food, the service was friendly, fast and caring. The waitress had that perfect balance of attentiveness and leaving us to enjoy our meal. The dcor was average, but clean. I would go back just for the service and the biscuits alone, luckily all the food we had was great.

Best Ever Breakfast!!!!!!. No matter what anyone says about any other breakfast restaurant in town, no one and I mean NO ONE can beat Joey’s. The service is extraordinary, the food is hands down the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The owner/management truly care about their customer’s satisfaction.

Waffle House Food. Joey’s is just like the Waffle house or Huddle house except no lunch or dinner. people just go there because they don’t know any better and most of the food in Maggie is bad so it makes Joey’s look good.
