Awesome place for a wedding reception!. We had our wedding reception with about 30 people at the Smokey Falls Lodge / Moonshine Grill. Everything was perfect. Lydia was so accommodating. She helped me work out the details with getting the cake, the food, decorating our private room, music, etc. I then worked with Chef Rick to create a menu that had something for everyone including gluten free choices. The main dish was a choice of Prime Rib, Wood Grilled Maple Glazed Salmon, and Chicken Saltimbocca. We loved it and so did our guests. So happy we chose Smokey Falls Lodge / Moonshine Grill. Our guests stayed the night in the lodge and enjoyed the experience and cabin decor of the rooms.
It was pretty good, prices are a tad overboard but food was good service good

Best food in Maggie Valley. Me and my wife stopped in on our way to Cherokee. We were not disappointed. My wife had the pork chops with mushroom sauce and I had the trout. Both were fantastic, no doggie bags needed. Will be back for sure.
Black and blue burger – good, onion rings – good and crispy, Alfredo pasta – good, pickle – not great…. How do you messmess up a pickle? No matter… It was a good dinner!
Kick A** Dinner. Hands down my favorite place to eat. The wait staff I had the pleasure of meeting, were absolutely WONDERFUL and totally DELIGHTFUL. I felt totally comfortable and at home because of Alicia, Helen and Frank. (By the way Frank makes a KILLER Moonshine Margarita 2 thumbs) Our food was absolutely sinful in flavor, and freshness. I had the Shrimp and Grits and it was hard for me to refrain from licking my dish when I was done. I will return many many times. All in all I give The Moonshine Grill 5 stars.
Was horrible. We came here thinking it was going to be great me and some friends well we were greatly dissappointed. the place was dead and the servers were rude. we ordered the onion straws and they tasted like they were cooked in old oil YUCK well we than went on to the salads and thet had too much dressing i orderd the saltibucca and it tastd salty horrible chef needs to be retrained and the steaks were overcooked the vegs looked like they were a week old the whole experience was terrible if you are lookinf for good food STTAY AWAY FROM THIS PLAce it is pricey and the food is terrible, the srtaff was arrogant and rude
