Worst service I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant. First, the waiter talks so quietly that you cannot hear him at all. That made it difficult to communicate. Second, I asked to sub out my spaghetti for fettuccine alfredo. Instead, he brought out a different pasta with red sauce. I reminded him that I wanted fettuccine alfredo. He said he would fix it right away (I think). About 10 min after I finished my food, he came out with a bowl of alfredo sauce to pour over the already sauced pasta! What!? It made no sense and took entirely too long. We were already done eating at that point. We also had empty drinks for much of the dinner. It’s not like they were really busy, if understand that. Terrible experience, I won’t be returning.
Too big for their britches?. Ever since Mario’s moved to its new location, the prices have increased substantially (some have doubled), the portion sizes have decreased, the accuracy of delivery orders has decreased, and the attitude has degraded. While we have been frequent delivery customers, tonight is my last time ordering. Last straw.
First time visiting the new location. Weird, sterile, awkward atmosphere. EXPENSIVE pizza. Especially by the slice. Gluten free pizza crust was gummy and tasteless, not enough topping.
Bring your wallet!! :(. EXPENSIVE for a ‘pizza place’!! A large pie with HALF a topping was almost $19!! Really?? With all the other deals from the other pizza chains AND another local pizzeria, why would you spend the extra money? The pizza is ok, not great at all. Kids drink?? $2!! for a thimble sized milk? Service was ok but it’s full of teenagers who seemed more interested in talking and laughing with each other then helping customers. Half my wings were meatless and soaked in too much sauce. Never going back there again as I have tried them three or four times now. My son and myself rang up a $30 bill for a hero, slice, 2 drinks and a app…….for a pizza place it was NOT worth it.

Consistently good pizza and food!. How consistent? I’ve been ordering from Mario’s take-out for what seems like ten years and they never disappoint. I’m a NY transplant and appreciate their pizza. Its as good a pie as you will find in Charlotte and we enjoy the pasta, seafood and salads from Mario’s as well.
I would have to say I am highly disapointed. I came in with my family and we chose to eat on the patio. Our server must have been new because she was verry slow and the garlic knots took forever to come out. She seemed unsure about what to do at points and I was verry surprised the manager would actually let her serve. Overall not good and I will not be returning
