Overpriced. For the amount of food and quality Moes is overpriced. The side of jalapeno cheddar grits was the best thing I ordered. The Mac and Cheese had little flavor, no seasoning and was just bad.

Nice Atmosphere but Poor Value. Looked promising from the outside so I stopped by today for lunch since I love good Bar B Que. the atmosphere was nice. Very airy with good view of downtown Matthews. You place your order at a counter, take a little numbered flag and place it on your table and shortly after you pick up you drink, they bring your order to the table you selected yourself. As far as restaurants go, very impersonal.I ordered a pulled pork sandwich which came with two sides along with iced tea. For my sides I chose baked beans along with a side salad with Italian Dressing. Instead of a what passes for a sandwich in most places, this was more or a slider. The meat was good and moist and the sauce, while a good balance of sweet and cider vinegar, was lacking of any heat. The baked beans were the highlight of the meal while the salad was a disaster. When it was served, it was very attactive and good presentation. When I bit into it however, it was evident that the salad had been prepared many hours before. Rather than a crisp sweetness with a crunch, the lettuce had that metallic taste that lettuce gets when it has been around too long. All of the other components were past their prime as well. The reason I say poor value, there are a number of other places in the area where you can get a full sized, full flavored sandwich for the same price. If I’m going to be served a slider, at least serve two of them at the same time.Would not recommend to anyone who is hungry and looking for a good meal. On the otherhand, they did have an extensive beer menu an if’s that your game, go for it.

Found this place a few months ago and stopped in for lunch. Wow!! Amazing. So, I just came back and finally was able to bring my husband. He lives for BBQ! We had the pulled pork, so moist and juicy, nice smoky flavor. The wings…omg…the wings! Probably the best we’ve ever had. A little smoky, moist, lightly crispy and the sauce is delish!! Try also have fresh made sides that are to die for!! Try the fried corn in the cob if they have it. Yum!! The staff is really nice too and we’ve met the owners both times now. This place rocks! Best BBQ!!

Nothing special. Below average potato salad. BBQ pork platter was cool or room temp, not hot. I did like their take on cornbread though. It was a toasted slice of sweet cornbread which I thought was pretty cool! It wasn’t the worst BBQ restaurant I’ve ever patronized but it wasn’t far from it.

Our first visit on a Friday afternoon and everything we tried was extra flavorful and excellent. Smoked wings were smoky and crispy and spicy and flavorful. Ribs and brisket were both meaty and nicely seasoned etc. Green beans and baked beans richly seasoned and better than any we have had around Charlotte in our eight years here. Facility is a little bit sparse but works. Pride shows in each dish we have tried, so far.

Vegetarian Options? Yes please!. As a vegetarian I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have an organic smoked tofu sandwich at this BBQ joint (make sure they understand you because I have gotten smoked turkey before). The atmosphere is laid back, the servers are super friendly and the food is really good.
