Amazing place to eat! We always bring friends and family from out of town and they love to hit it up every time they come to Charlotte/ Matthews!
Deliciously soft and fluffy donuts that come in creative flavors like peanut butter mousse- fille donates sprinckled with banana chips or even sweet potato-filled maple glazed. They of course have the classics as well, glazed and chocolate-covered, ect. It’s a cute place with nice staff and all ingredients are locally sourced, including of the milk products. I highly recommend!
Donuts are delish. Boxes should be made ahead as it takes way too long, put coffee accessible to guests and put something on the walls. It could be so adorable.
Love the pastry cream! omg love the maple glazed apple pie filling! donut ; they run out quick so get there early!
Served these to our entire congregation at River Church Charlotte and the response was… Hallelujah!
Amazing!
Donut Paradise in Matthews. Drive down Monroe Road in Matthews and you might miss this great spot! It is nestled in a small, older shopping center between a distribution center and church. There is a catch though to this paradise…arrive early because they sell out quick! Your Mom’s Dounts are farm to table and made with local, fresh ingredients. I had a lemon glaze with raspberry filling and wow did my tastebuds light up. The doughnuts are large, larger than your average KK or DD ones. Be prepared to eat these with an empty stomach and a fork/knife combo. The flavors are out of this world and the taste of the lemon paired with the raspberry had me fully believing Grandma was in the back canning jelly. The price of these doughnuts is higher than your typical standbys, a dozen is $25.00 with half dozen at $12.00, however its well worth the cost to try some one of a kind flavors. As Homer says mmmmm donuts.
