This is our go to spot for a great meal. The quality of the dishes is great and the staff are excellent. Try the pork loin chop and the calamari!
Overall. Nice place food ok, small portions don’t expect to eat like an Italian, surprised did not have spaghetti. Had to settle for linguine .
It was great! I had the lasagna and it was the best I have had. It was cozy and the food was great. The taramisu was very good. I love this place!
Cafe Tiramisu. I wanted to say I have found an Italian gem in Raleigh. Caf Tiramisu on Falls of the Neuse is a cozy family owned restaurant. Our server Richard was so wonderful with our group of 12 and took great care of us. The smells coming from the kitchen were a teaser of the good food to come. The freshly baked bread with dipping oil/spices is a lovely way to start with a glass of wine. My Chicken Saltimbocca was cooked perfectly and my daughter tells me her fillet was perfect (and she ordered it RARE which is hard to get done properly in many restaurants.)There is a full bar if a cocktail is more your speed . The atmosphere is cozy and you don’t feel rushed . There is also a small patio out front for outdoor dining if you wish . My only problem is I didn’t save room for dessert so I will just have to go back !
Good but not great. Had the chicken in prosciutto cream sauce. The chicken was tough and the sauce had very little flavor. Disappointing in light of the price. My polenta was good and the rigatoni meat sauce on my fianc’s dish was delicious. Our waiter was very nice, but the hostess neither greeted us nor wished us to have a nice meal. No one said anything to us as we left. It’s the little things that make a good restaurant great and this place was ok, but not great.
Best Fine Dining Italian in Raleigh!. I grew up eating veal saltimbocca at a fine dining Italian restaurant in Florida, and had yet to find somewhere that was comparable, until I went to Cafe Tiramisu! This place hits the spot for true Italian cuisine in a non-pretentious setting. Ask for Ben as your server! She is the best!
Not expected. The food was really good, but this place is tiny – much cozier than we expected. Good drinks and wonderful dessert!
