This Is Now CJ’s Barbecue. Tried a chopped sandwich here today, and it is pretty good Lexington style BBQ – not up to that at most of the top Lexington BBQ joints, but good. The meat is moist, tender, a small amount of smoke taste, and not to finely chopped. They give you additional sauce with the sandwich, but it is not needed. This is not destination BBQ – drive by at best.Also tried a chili dog, but took only a bite or two – chili is thin and sweet – no zip to it. Supposedly the BBQ Chicken is pretty good here – and I’ll give it a try next time by.
