Poor Customer Service. This restaurant has great food and I have been eating there all my life. In the past few years it seems as the wait staff has taken a turn for the worse. They are extremely rude and abrasive. I appreciate fine dining and I realize that this is not an upscale restaurant however I do expect my waitress to at least speak to me kindly, refrain from eye rolling and exhibit some level of customer service. People work hard for their money. Who wants to give someone a dollar (that is so hard to come by) after they slam your drink down. I am a business professional and if I behaved in the manner of these waitresses I would be terminated. Furthermore, if I was the manager I would be concerned that the rude, unfriendly, uninviting, wait staff may turn away customers. I would love to ask the waitresses why the work at a restaurant if they don’t like serving customers. I know I don’t want to be a waitress so I chose a different career path and that’s what they should do.
Buffet Cashiers. We always have enjoyed going to Quincy’s. Monday night, 2/03/2014, we were in town because of the death of a family member. We went through the buffet line where the two cashiers were at each other’s throats! The small girl had a terrible attitude towards us and the older girl complained and shouted the entire time we were in line.We won’t be back unless they get new help. THEY ruined the meal.
Steak & don’t forget the yeast roll!. This place used to be THE place to go to anytime we had a reason to celebrate. We used to drool at the thought of the yeast rolls! So good.Recently went back with my father. We both had the 6 oz steaks, sweet potatoes & yeast rolls. They were on special for around $6 (I think it is normally around $7) and we were shocked at the size of the steaks. Looked more like 10 oz! Everything was cooked perfectly. The buffet seemed to be very popular the whole time we were there but we left stuffed even without hitting it. The atmosphere didn’t exactly look like it had been changed at all in decades (which probably should have at least fixed the ripping fabric on the booths) but for the price we were much better off than some fast food trip.
Wonderful. On sundays we go to Quincies we used to go there three times a week til we moved to matthews. One sunday we were in line and realized Ron forgot his wallet. We were so embaraced but Sandi said guys you are here all the time bring it back after while. What a sweet thing to do and we did indeed take the money back.
Yummy. My 7 year old daughter absolutely loves Quincy’s. She would rather go there than any fancy steakhouse. She loves the buffet. The service is always wonderful. We live in Waxhaw and drive to Monroe just to visit your steakhouse. Thanks for being there!!
