Babymoon Cafe’s catering is incredible. The food was amazing and staff was very helpful. We used them for our wedding reception and I would recommend using Babymoon for any event
Wonderful Dinner. After reading previous reviews we were leary about going here but decided to give it a try….we were DELIGHTED! The wait staff was efficient, the wine was goood, the appeatizer (Babymoon brochiette) was wonderful, with lots of topping. I had the Salmon Mediterranean, which was full of flavor and my husband had the veal marsala and he enjoy it very much. We had cream brulee for dessert and it was very nicely flavored with a bit of lemon, my only disappointment (and this happens with most restaurants) is that is was not warm. All in all, we will definately return….please give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. Also, it was a Thurs. nite and the place was pretty crowded.
Just ok. Food is decent but the waitstaff is terrible. Bad service.
Convenient to Raleigh Durham Airport. The menu is diverse and food really fresh. Casual atmosphere indoor and outdoor dining. It’s worth the extra timeeating there rather than the airport when coming or leaving Via RDU.
New Chef at Baby Moon. I’ve always enjoyed going to Baby Moon Caf for lunch but I’ve never gone there for dinner, so I revisited the caf to try out there dinner menu. When I arrived I was surprised to find out that they have a new chef as well who is doing a great job. We arrived at 6:30 on a Saturday evening and there was plenty of seating but by 7:00 the place was packed. The wait staff was superb. They were attentive, prompt and friendly, yet we felt relaxed with no rushing. They start you out with homemade focaccia bread that is light, buttery, moist with a light coating of herbs, and it’s served with a dipping oil that is infused with cheese and herbs. We decided to or three of the daily specials. The appetizer were shells stuffed with crab and ricotta blanketed with a rich tomato basil sauce. It was served with a side of arugula with shaved parmesan and walnuts. If you are a crab fan I highly recommend this appetizer.I ordered salmon stuffed with crab. The salmon was moist, tender, and very flavorful. The crab stuffing was a mixture of crab and bread that melted in your mouth when you ate it. All of this was on a bed of creamy smashed potatoes. It was excellent. My wife had the pasta special which consisted of Fuselli pasta (corkscrew shaped pasta), sundried tomatoes, shrimp, and broccoli in a light cream sauce. It was a great combination of flavors that blended perfectly in the mouth. One of the features of the restaurant that I really liked is that they ask you if you want any extra parmesan or Romano (my favorite) cheese. Unlike other restaurants that sprinkle it on for you, Baby Moon gives you a bowl of shaved Romano or parmesan on your table for you to put on your own food.
Great pasta but OMG the desserts. Love their Rigatoni Bolognese but it’s absolutely the best tiramisu I ever had.
Fantastic food & atmosphere… I have eaten at Babymoon for over 6 years and I’ve yet to have a bad meal! Even through an owner change, the quality of the food remains consistent! Here are some of my favorite palate pleasers….Mussels Marinara, Fresh Mozarella & Tomato, Fried Calamari, Verdura Salad (I always switch the chicken for salmon, Penne ala Vodka, Linguini w/clam sauce, Shrimp & Andouille Sausage, Grilled Salmon, Shrimp Portafino, Seafood Fri Diablo (sweet), Herb Crusted Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Portobello…And yes there are still items on the menu that I haven’t tried lol!
