It’s busy, but not the best in town!. I’ve been to Arturo’s many times and I’m just not impressed. The prices are good. The portions are good. I’m just not a big fan of the food itself. I think a lot of the food lacks flavor. We go to El Tequila just down the street behind Harris Teeter. The wait staff is on scale with Arturos and the food is outstanding!
Great Service, Quick Service, Clean. My wife and I frequent this when we have a craving for Mexican. For the money and selection of other competitors, this place is the best choice. They make an alright Margarita with normal mixers but a good pour at a good price. You can’t beat their combination plate selections. For under $10 you get a meal for two. We never finish our portions and have lunch the next day. And the service is so fast, it should embarrass any fast food restaurant. The place is kept very clean. I mean windows, sills and floor is always being attended by the staff. We love Arturos and will be back again for more.

Not the best, but good.. This is definitely not the best Mexican food in New Bern, but it is good. It is authentic, the food is affordable, the service friendly. A good place to gather with friends for a leisurely dinner and chat.
Good food and value. My wife and I frequent this restaurant when we want Mexican food. Good service, fast and fresh food. Good value. We’ve been frequenting for years and we’ve always enjoyed it.
What a surprise. This restaurant was an unexpected pleasure. I like hot verde sauce and few restaurants hit that goal-this one succeeded and beyond. The verde chicken enchiladas were outstanding on multiple levels: the taste of the sauce, the heat of the sauce, the taste and texture of the chicken-even the salad topping was great-with fresh cilantro. My wife had some arroz con pollo-I make this dish at home as a paella and though this was not a paella the taste was super, mole sauce-very good with hints of coco and cinnamon. We ultimately spoke with and extended our compliments to Arturo; we asked him to open a restaurant in St. Louis. Though we visited my brother and our appetite sights were set on seafood-we will never pass this place up when we return.
Okay. Nothing special, but I prefer this to the other Mexican restaurants in town due to the service and cleanliness.
