I noticed the reviews posted here for this restaurant were written almost 2 years ago. I found my breakfast to be average, nothing special or magical about it. My brothers sausage was very overcooked and the potatoes served with our eggs looked as if they had been ordered from the clowns nose menu. It was an average meal with a slightly too high price tag. The interior of the restaurant was as forgettable as was my meal.Just saying!
This is by far my favorite breakfast restaurant. My family and I have dined here dozens of times and have never had a bad experience. The whole menu is top-notch. I recommend adding a sweet potato biscuit to any meal, you won’t regret it. The upstairs dining area is perfect for large family outings, especially when there are multiple children in the group.
Eggs Benedict with no bread. I love this restaurant and usually drive in from Jacksonville at least every other Saturday, and usually order the delicious salmon, yams and collards. Today 15 Jan 2015 I ordered Eggs Benedict. The waitress asked if I wanted regular or Florentine. I asked for regular and got 2 pieces of ham topped with one poached egg each then covered with the delicious sauce – no bread. The dish was garnished with some tomato slices. Seeing how sparse the dish looked she asked if I wanted a side order or bread. I asked for toast and created my own Eggs Benedict. Since when is bread not automatically included with this dish? Bread is now a side? Thank you.
Soso. Cheese eggs were oily ($1 extra for cheese), mac and cheese watery, sweet potato cass was stringy. French toast good, waffles good, bacon good, chicken strips good. Overall, better than ihop and waffle house as far as waffles and french toast are concerned but other side items were lacking. Also, they were pretty pricey. I would go back for the items mentioned above but would only stick to those . If I try something else there I’ll update.
Umm umm good. Ohhhh man that’s sum good a&& food yo!
The meatloaf is really good, along with their rolls, dutch potatoes, and mac & cheese.
