Sunday’s At MJ’s is really the only time to eat there. Well, maybe not the only, but my preferred day. On Sunday’s they serve their Mac’Daddies(deep fried triangular Mac and cheese nuggets of the heart attack goodness that make me forget that I would not like to die of a clogged arteries) are 50 a pop. To wash them down is usually one of the five craft beers on tap, typically brewed in North Carolina. For an entree, I had a black and blue wrap with sweet potato fries that was pretty legit. Also the buffalo chicken sandwich was on point today(not known to me for consistency) which was served with coleslaw under the filet. I enjoy MJ’s and eat there probably more than anywhere else in downtown.
Pretty Bad. I was REALLY shocked at how bad MJ’s was this past Saturday. It wasn’t just horrible service, but the food was abysmal. I will pay for quality but there is none. Messed up orders, broken deep fryer (no fries for the kids) and miserable hostess. Won’t go back.
