I am honestly baffled at the fact that this restaurant doesn’t have a higher rating! After having an exemplary supper the other night at Musashi’s (as New Bernians call it), I felt a strong urge to return. The staff are very pleasant and fun to be around and the food is superb. The show that they give while cooking your food right in front of you is incredible and the efficiency is remarkable. The staff have an amazing amount of skill. They literally toss, slice, and create a small fire in the middle of some onion rings. I will definitely return to this fine eatery. I only regret not taking any photos!
Huh? The sushi here is great. I have had sushi all over the world, including Japan. I have fed this sushi to Japanese visitors who raved about it. We only eat at the sushi bar and we love it. It is not inexpensive but good, fresh sushi never is. They also have a full selection of Japanese beers, brewed in the USA or Canada of course. The service is excellent.
Go next door to Harris Teeter and you’ll get better sushi. Wish we had a better Japanese place here. Try Yakitori in Jacksonville for the good stuff.
Good for lunch but there are better hibachi grills for dinner.
