Went there for lunch, got pulled pork and turkey sandwiches. Absolute garbage and the turkey was sliced a half inch thick. Sent out thick pork slices instead of pulled pork, full of fat and grisley.
I was actually looking for authentic Carolina BBQ. Strangely enough hard to find in Wilmington, NC. Maybe it’s because I’m new to the area. Anyway Dickey’s satisfied my craving for BBQ. Service was quick and very hospitable. Ribs were fall off the bone tender. The pulled pork had that Carolina vinegar based flavoring and the spicy smoked sausage with cheese was addictive. I’m determined to find that secret BBQ place here in Wilmington but until then Dickey’s has my vote ! Check it out!!
