Beats The Chains. Nice little burger/hot dog joint, with pretty good, but not great, sandwiches and fries. Small place with limited seating, maybe six tables, and it has a drive thru window, as well. Usually pretty thinly manned, so if it gets the least bit busy, orders can be a little slow – especially if the drive thru is busy and the phone is ringing.I like the burger here, not the biggest or the one with the most flavor in the area, but it’ll do for a quick bite. The hot dog is also pretty good, though the chili is a little on the bland side. The fries are good as well – try the chili/cheese fries- and the prices are excellent. Service is good, but remember this is a small place, with limited staff, peak times can get a little sporty.
Classic Joint. Can’t find a burger like this anywhere in the country. Trust me, i’ve looked.
