Cute little place. Good food and good prices.
Husband and I went on a Saturday. Lots of diners enjoying their food. Having a nostalgic 50’s flair it has indoor and outdoor dining. You order at the counter and then sit yourself. The diner only has one bathroom stall for each gender which at times I’m sure creates a situation. I Had the BBQ plate with fries and coleslaw. The BBQ Is very good but not as tender as some I’ve had at other restaurants. My husband had a double party hamburger with onion rings. The hamburger and bun were excellent. The onion rings were fresh and the quality and size of the onion rings were good but the batter was very bland. It’s a shame because the onion rings would have been rated as excellent otherwise. A good onion ring shouldn’t need ketchup to spice it up. The waitstaff was excellent and refills are prompt. There was a sign on the wall behind register that stated only one refill. We asked our server about it and she said that wasn’t the case and they should take down the sign. We happily asked for and received two refills. Lots of regulars were dining along with newbies like ourselves. We will definitely come back!
Awesome food, awesome service, awesome people!. One of my favorite things is when I find a small local business that I can support wholeheartedly!! Had lunch with 10 of my favorite people yesterday at The Dive-N in Pineville and I can’t recommend it enough! The food is delicious, there is really something on the menu for everyone, and the people that couldn’t be nicer. One of our group lost her phone into the deepest part of a corner booths’ cushions and the entire staff and owners could not have been more gracious about it. They spent an hour helping us get the iphone out of the booth – moving all the tables and the booth, lifting the booth up, squeezing behind it, and more. If you are looking for a great place for breakfast or lunch, please check this place out – corner of Lancaster Highway and 51.
Good but has been better. Love the food and have had a good experience up until recently. They’re known for their hospitality and spot on refills but the lady in charge of my table this time didn’t even offer us refills once. She was cold towards us too. Maybe she’s racist but if it happens again I’ll either not go back or I’ll ask for her not to wait on us (bring food, refills, etc. since she didn’t even do it when she was suppose to…waisted tip!) Very disappointed after so many good experiences here!I always get the Jimmy’s Special which is the best cheese burger I’ve had at a restaurant. My boyfriend has enjoyed everything he’s ordered here (fish sandwich, friend chicken, Jimmy’s Special.)We’re going back soon and I really hope the experience is a better one then last time 🙁

Great place. I have eaten here for 5 years now, best hot dog in Charlotte, great people they make you feel welcomed. I never had a bad experience there
This is probably one of the best burgers that I’ve had in the South Charlotte/Pineville area. Great flavor for my burger. Good pricing for the quality of the food. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great sweet tea. Atmosphere fit the food quite well. All around a 4 out of 5 stars. Good stuff.
