Expensive and grumpy. MJ Donuts have good tasting donuts. In charlotte, it’s hard to find an authentic Mom and Pops donut shop, so I was excited to find this place. Unfortunately, this donut shop is way overpriced. Expect to pay around $25.00 per dozen if you want to get anything other than a plain frosted donut. If you buy cake donuts, persians, filled, or anything other than a simple frosted donut, the fee is incredible. Also, the lady who served me was very grumpy (maybe it was a bad day). This place is ideal if you just want one donut and a coffee.
MJ is superb! It’s modestly decorated with a pretty basic selection of donuts, nothing exotic. But basic has never tasted SO good! Their donuts are fresh everyday and they close their doors once they sell out ( usually around 11-12 ) They also give free donut holes with every purchase!
This is a delicious, fresh & friendly donut shop that is family owned & operated.. They make donuts fresh everyday and close their doors once they’re sold out of donuts! So you must go early, or you might miss out! They give you free donut holes with every purchase ( what a perk! ) and the coffee isn’t bad either.
Nice donut shop.. They usually have morning hours so I’ve only been there a few times. It’s family owned and they’re generally friendly people. They would give me an extra donut every now and then, which is always a plus.
Great donuts and pastries. Every thing is fresh ,soft,and sweet.Check it out you won’t regret.
Sub Par. I walked in this morning and was greeted by a very nice women. The place is small which usually translate to awesome food. I ordered a Double Chocolate & a boston creme donut. I gotta say it was OK. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. I seriously doubt I’ll have urges for MJ’s like I get every now and then for a Cinnabon.I can’t say you have to go here if your in Charlotte but if your passing by and want a donut a lil better then Dunk’n Donuts stop by.Now they server Coffee but I don’t drink the stuff so I can’t say anything about it.
