The best sushi. I love their sushi.They have real Japanese style sushi. I’m talking about real real sushi. Not Americanized ones such as California roll. Their rolls good also but really need to try real sushi. Specially their egg(tamago) sushi is the best!!!If you want to try real Japanese style food this place is the right one.
Authentic Japanese cuisine. This is by far, the most authentic Japanese food I’ve had outside of my mother’s kitchen. Delicious ramen, fantastic tempura and great customer service. Go to Musashi’s if you are wanting a REAL taste of Japan! MUSASHI DAI SUKI!!!

Mediocre food affair. Not authentic either.. I hate to give a bad review on a rare restaurant that’s actually run by Japanese people (apparently), but it just wasn’t a very good food. The sushi set I ordered was a typical Americanized sushi affair. Not authentic at all (which is what you expect in Charlotte anyway, but…)I also don’t know where they find their cooks, but I seriously doubt the Japanese guy behind the sushi counter was properly trained in the sushi making (at least not in Japan). Just because the guy is a Japanese, doesn’t make him any kind of sushi master. It’s a profession, not a nationality. He could’ve been a construction worker in Japan before moving to the US for all we know. He also was very slow in making his sushis. I had to wait at the counter for my sushi set for nearly 30 mins while the guy was chatting a bunch of lame stuff with other customers at the counter. Not only he doesn’t seem like a proper sushi cook, his work-attitude was not professional at all. They need to hire somebody else before he pisses off too many customers.
Most authentic Japanese restaurant in Charlotte. It is just wonderful!
Terrible. Took them an hour to bring our sushi out. I’m pretty sure they lost our order. Won’t ever be back.
