The food was not bad but it wasnt great either. Ill come back but I was hoping for an awesome place I could bring Family when they visit. Would recommend for something better than chain restaurant food.

Best part of this restaurant is definitely the pretzel rolls! Could eat these all day. Add the sausage appetizer to them and you have delicious sliders. Good selection of beer and offers a cuisine that you really can’t get around Charlotte too easily. Definitely worth a try. Haven’t been impressed with everything on the menu but there are definitely good options for most anyone with a little sense of adventure.

Sunday brunch is a must if you’re coming to the Waldhorn. Overall the food is very good and the staff is friendly, but some dishes are better than others. The sausages are amazing, as they should be at any German restaurant. The spaetzle is also great, and the potato salad is the best I’ve ever had. Some of their meat options are just average though, and I didn’t care for the sauerbraten when I’ve tried it. They have an excellent array of breads and desserts too, which overall are all good to great.

12 times in 3 years. Always the same story: great food and superior service. Tonight was no exception. Each of our four diners had different dishes and dessert. Can’t say enough about it. The bread pudding was awesome.

Never disappointed here. The Sunday brunch is fantastic. So much to choose from and always fresh – there is nothing worse than eggs sitting on a buffet but they get eggs and everything else right. Wonderful staff. The pretzel rolls and the desserts were worth dipping into before everything else!22 Mar, 2014Fantastic Brunch. We took two wee ones to brunch here along with a set of grandparents and we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal. There was something for everyone. The pretzel rolls kept the kids busy while the adults loaded their plates…perfection. The young chef from JandW was outstanding with the omelet making! Seriously good spaetzle and assorted sausages. Who knew a plate could hold so much food?! Fabulous. Service was outstanding, as well. Get there early it fills up! Well worth the money and we will be back.

Good German food in NC!. Went to Waldhorn for their Sunday Brunch Buffet, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that good German food is available in North Carolina. There was a good selection of German favorites and everything was quite tasty. The only miss was the German potato salad. The restaurant itself is very nice, and the staff was friendly and attentive.
