Our go-to special occasion restaurant near Wake Forest. Our family has had several birthday and anniversary dinners here and the service & food is consistently outstanding. We have had entrees such as Delmonico Steak, Chicken Parm., Grilled Salmon, Lamb Chops and apps. Calamari, Crab Cakes, Iceberg wedge.
Worsening. Went to Bruno’s last week and it was horrible. The food was mediocre and poorly made. The wine we wanted and usually order wasn’t available and was offered a more expensive one? The waitstaff reeked of cigarette smoke. Hoping to secure something positive of the evening went to the bar side and that was a nightmare. Jimmy did nothing but yell and bark out orders. Jason reeked of smoke and ran around like he was on speed. Limited bar items and nothing worth drinking. Left in disgust and will never return. Go to the Tavern or McDonalds, they know how to serve better. Dante’s is the best in the area. Same format as Brunos with better food, a real bar, and great hard working employees.
Rude wait staff, totally disrespectful. The food is not good enough to deal with rude bartenders named Jimmy.
So disappointed after reading many of the reviews. The grilled Caesar salad had no grill marks or grilled taste and the dressing tasted like mayonnaise; no garlic, anchovy, parmesan cheese taste plus the croutons were a bit soggy. The NY strip steak as not medium rare. The mushrooms, green beans and potatoes were tasteless. Would not recommend this restaurant.
Great Food!. Bruno is a wonderful restaurant with an attractive fine dining experience. I have dined at Bruno several times and each time I have had nothing but positive things to say about the food and service. Each and every time I have eaten at Bruno, the food has been out of this world! Also, the restaurant and its bathrooms are always very clean. It truly is the place to go for great seafood. Bruno is perfect for celebrating a special occasion or for a nice place to go on a date.

Awesome restaurant. By far my favorite Italian restaurant. Excellent oysters Rockefeller and pasta. High-end atmosphere and good wine.
