Born in jersey. I don’t get the good reviews. Croutons from a bag. Ceaser dressing not right. Sauce looks and tastes like it was canned. Slow service on a night that was not busy. Pizza so so. Waiter was nice. Expensive. Try paparattzis instead
I disagree with the negative reviews. This is my second visit here and the food and service were fantastic. This is true Italian food. Having grown up in the New York city area this is as good if not better than the best places up north.Highly Recommended.
I like Dante’s Italiano I went out there with a date a few months ago I thought the menu was pretty good the wine selection is not bad neither what I like the most about Dante’s Italiano is the atmosphere it’s nice and cozy it just feel like one of those mom and pop Italian joint around the corner in New York City I would give it a 4.5 out of 5
Surprisingly good, friendly service, good food, and the owner cares about your experience. Cold anti pasta exceptional, fresh bread, bruschetta did not impress, pizza well done. Going back to put some other dishes to the test. Overall really good and comparable to Bella Monica, maybe better. We shall see.
Homecooked Italian at its Finest !. I used to think I knew the best Italian food until I found Dante’s Italiano. While I’m not knocking my hometown folks, Now, I consider those places I ate at to be Italian ‘Fast’ Food. Dante’s is now mine and Becky’s favorite restaurant over Caraba’s and Olive Garden.Becky and I have eaten the White Pizza which renders the finest ricotta, garlic, and basil on it. Their Calzones, have the richest cheese, ricotta, and toppings I have ever eaten.Their Penne Baci is to die for. It renders the creamiest pink sauce that doesn’t skip a beat with a hearty sundried tomatoes, and herbs and spices. Mom went with us once and had the Eggplant Parmigiana and it was crisp, robust, and full of body. Their Greek Salad, and Caesar Salad is fresh, and gives you the finest in touch. I give them 5/5 rating. The owner and staff all show pleasing personality and want to make sure your visit is ‘Just Like Home — Only better !’
Nice little place. Quaint atmosphere. Food was delicious. So far the most authentic Italian I’ve had in Raleigh. Will definitely be back.
Thank you, Thank you Danny!! I have FINALLY found my favorite Italian restaurant in Raleigh! Tried the Chilean Sea Bass special and it was beautifully perfect! My son had the Stromboli which was the best we have ever had! All I can say is WOW! You have to try Dante’s!!
