This place is ok. Nothing earth shattering or note worthy. So many sushi places around but this one is close to us. I don’t think it’s worth any sort of drive unless you live in the boonies. Sigh. Go to mizu in wake forest for good sushi.
Great chefs, poor service. This restaurant has a wide variety of creative rolls, excellent food presentation and the sushi quality is decent considering the buy 1, get 1 free deal on rolls. The decor is pleasant enough. My husband is a big fan of this place, but I had stopped going for awhile because of the poor service and it’s usually freezing cold in the restaurant. However, I decided to give it another try tonight. The poor serving person was obviously untrained and clueless how to handle her multiple mistakes. This was such a negative experience (for both of us I’m sure) and I blame management for not hiring and/or training their people. A pity given the chef talent.
