Not A Big Fan Of The BBQ, Or The Hot Dog. His is a relatively new looking place, and big. They offer all 3 meals, 7 days a week. Besides BBQ, they have Seafood (including some All-You-Can-Eat items), the usual variety of Sandwiches & Salads, and Daily Specials ranging from Spaghetti to Prime Rib.The BBQ is tender, but comes unsauced and is dry, and bland. They offer 2 sauces, one vinegar based, one tomato based – the vinegar based helps, but it is a very mild sauce. This is not bad pork, but not nearly as tasty as a number of other places in this area offer. The regular Chopped Sandwich goes for $3.35.The Chili Dog was Ok, but like much of the hot dog chili in this area, the primary taste is sweetness. Their Foot Long costs $3.09, and is not one I’d order again.
BBQ is good. It’s not the best that NC has to offer but the Q is good and the service is great. Don’t do fish at a Q restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone passing through the area.
Not good. Very greasy and had no flavor.
Excellent food. This is an excellent place to eat. I travel over an hour to just eat there. I would highly recommend everybody try this restuarant. They have pretty much anything you could want to eat. Great atmosphere for families.
