Pan seared Tuna. A fine pan seared tuna steak is so hard to find that I am afraid to order locally………Except at Ivan’s. Last Friday night I took friends to dinner and took the plunge. It was exceptional ! I ordered medium rare and it was simply perfect! My friends are from Charlotte and are no strangers to fine dining, they already want to return to little Salisbury to eat again. With two kids in college we don’t get to treat ourselves much, but when we do it’s always Ivan’s of Salisbury. Thank you Joe for yet another perfect evening.Oh yeah the steaks arn’t anything to sneeze at either.
Best restaurant in town. Don’t let the dollar signs put you off. Entrees include your salad, and even so there are many delicious choices under $25. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing and the service is superb.
Doesn’t get any better….. My hubby and I are in Salisbury on business for a week and because we travel frequently and eat out more than we care too, we have fun playing ‘pretend food critic’!! I could rave on and on about Ivan’s but just to keep this short, I will say that we came away from our experience at Ivan’s with not ONE criticism…everything was perfect from the time we walked in the front door where we were greeted by a charming hostess! I could not say enough to do this restaurant justice so if you are in the area, please do not hesitate to give Ivan’s a try. It’s worth the drive out in the country and tops any restaurant we’ve tried in the downtown area.
Incredible. I’m addicted to the seared duck breast with curry mango chutney. I’ve never had a bad steak there and my kids love the children’s menu. Our favorite spot in Salisbury.
Jcg. I have been going to Ivan’s Restaurant since 1990 and living in Raleigh, NC it is well worth the 2 hour drive for the quality of service, friendly atmosphere, and excellent food. I have attempted to eat most everything on the menu and have never been disappointed but always my expectations have been exceeded for quality of service and food satisfaction. I have continued to make the drive and encourage anyone traveling to the area to stop and enjoy this favorite restaurant of mine.
Best in Salisbury. Outstanding service and excellent food! Relaxed atmosphere perfect for a couple’s night out or larger gathering. New entrees are added frequently and always impress. Steaks simply cannot be beat. A+++
Best steakhouse/restaurant. Never a disappointment…always a pleasure. Ivans offers succulent steaks, savory grilled shrimp, amazing salmon, and much more. Great service, clean facility, and proficiently managed. Try it once; you’ll return.
