Great customer service and excellent food!. After leaving a not so flattering review of a meal my husband and I had on our anniversary, Mr. Joe Sims came by my place of business and personally apologized for the meal, and handed me a more than generous gift certificate. This shows the type of people that own and work at Ivan’s. The food is excellent, and anyone can have an off day, or meal! In their defense, they were extremely busy, and I’m sure under those conditions everything can’t be perfect. I am grateful for the wonderful personal service, and will continue to call this my favorite restaurant. I would recommend Ivan’s 100%. Best food in Salisbury! Give it a try!12 May, 2014Disappointing. My husband and I have enjoyed eating at Ivan’s in the past. Because it is a little pricey, we reserve it for special occasions. Saturday, May 10, was our wedding anniversary, and we looked forward to eating there. I ordered my favorite dish, the salmon with lime sauce and steamed veggies, and my husband ordered the rib-eye. My salmon was burned on the bottom and dried out, and my veggies were cold. My husband’s steak was tough, and he said that it had no flavor. He had to drown it in Worcestershire sauce to even eat it. I will say that the Key Lime pie was good, and our server was excellent. It will be a while before we try this again. Very disappointing for a $92.00 meal.
