Love it. Sumo is awesome, service and food are great! I think the only reason someone wouldn’t like it would be that they don’t like sushi, but that’s what the hibachi is for! I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get sushi, by far the best!
Awesome. We love Sumo! There are only two choices for sushi in this town and the other pales in comparison. The other reviewers might be slightly retarded with worries about spray-painted signs (relevance?) and ‘defiantly’ warm food. We are ACTUAL customers that have never been disappointed. The service is friendly and courteous, and the food is terrific. Ask the sushi chef for roll recommendations. We’ve purchased several specials that were not on the menu and they were stellar. Thumbs up all around (although, bigger wine glasses with a healthier pour would be appreciated).
Thanks, Carla, but I’m afraid your review may be a bit biased considering you’re an employee of Sumo Sushi. My opinion, as a customer and not an employee, is that this restaurant is horrible! First, why is the sign for the restaurant spray painted? The owner said 2 months ago that a new sign was on the way? Was he lying? The food is defiantly below average. The presentation on the sushi is nice, however my sashimi was warm the last time I ate there. I will not be giving Sumo Sushi another chance.
First I would like to say the some of the info posted is incorrect. Hibachi is spelled wrong, the correct # is (704)419-2117, n the prices range from $6.99 $16, Lunch Specials as low as $4.99! There are also drink specials on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday! The food is wonderful & the presentation of the sushi is appealing! Don’t let me forget the wonderful atmosphere n customer service. Try it once and you’ll be back!!!
