Disappointing. No kids menu. My chicken was not white meat and I asked if it would be. We used a coupon and instead of taking off one of the two $9 entrees we purchased, they took off the $3.95 fried rice we ordered and counted that as our entree.
Good for the South. Southern Chinese food is weird. It just isn’t like anywhere else in the country which isn’t ANYTHING like actual Chinese food. With all of that being said, Best China is pretty good and very inexpensive. I prefer the molasses based duck sauce from the Northeast which isn’t readily available elsewhere. I make my own at home and order sweet and sour chicken here with the sauce on the side. It’s always very quick, piping hot, cheap and tasty. The scallion chicken is really good but sweet. I think we have tried everything they have on their menu. The only thing I didn’t care for was the beef teriyaki as it was tough. For the most part, these guys will mix anything in any way you want. We have customized their asparagus chicken to include only broccoli and asparagus and to omit the water chestnuts and carrots. No problem! It isn’t China. It isn’t PF Chang’s. It’s your neighborhood take out place and it is fast, hot, cheap and good. Make your own duck sauce, though!
We like it. We like Best China. No, it’s not fabulous, but what do you want for the price? It’s a typical Chinese-style restaurant. We have few great ones in our area. For the money, it’s very good. Portions are good and they make the food when you order it.
The food is typically good not exactly P.F changs but the portions are great. Watch out for the asian lady who works there. Shes rude and gready. The rest of the staff is friendly.
I read the review by Mr Rorie and I must say I’m beginning to agree. The is a location near Regent Park and at first the entrees were very tasty and had nice portions. On Friday we had dinner and I chose a seafood dish with shrimp, scallops, crab and mixed vegetables in a white sauce. There were only three small scallops and not much more shrimp. There were a few pieces of imitation crab but the rest was vegetables. I think the taste and food quality have declined and I know the value for the money has declined.
Worst China. Lots of veggies, not much meat or sauce. What sauce is there is quite generic. I believe this place reheats supplied from a food service like Sysco. Move along, nothing to see.
