An unassuming location, a menu with a few unique twists, and modest local beer selection. Enjoyed a hot pretzel appetizer basted in honey butter, served with stone-ground mustard. Mendocino County Pie was perfectly prepared, well balanced flavors.

Casual Atmosphere with Good Food. I work in Statesville and have always wanted to try this place but unfortunately they don’t open till late afternoon and by that time, I’m heading South on I-77. Had occassion to be in Statesville tonight so I finally got a chance to give them a try.Food is very good. I had the 10 piece wings but I thing the Pizza would have been a better choice. Not to say the wings were not good because they were. Only had three choices of sauce and the hottest was the Traditional Bufflo sauce which was probably Frank’s Hot Sauce which granted was the one used at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, is not that hot.Wings were cooked properly and they were very good but I would have like a bit more heat and a more distintive Blue Cheese as a counterpoint. Looking at the Pizza’s that most people around me were ordering, I can see why they were ordering. Pizza’s were very large and this place does not skim on toppings.Unusual atmosphere. You walk in and order at the counter. They give you a number which you carry to your table to get served. Nothing unusual up to this point but then, when you are finished, your carry the number to the front to cashier to settle your bill. Otherwise it a nice neighborhood pizza parlor and a very good one at that.Service is very good and I never wanted for anything. All in all, it was very good. Their hours don’t normally fit my hours but in the case where they do, I will probably be back fairly soon.
The pizza and wings are quite good. We ordered the Memphis wings and a pepperoni pizza. The food is tasty and quick. The service on the other hand is fair, at best. The wait staff is distracted and indifferent. It seemed like friend and family night. Expect to ask for additional napkins and plates and pour your own drinks. If you’re really really in the mood for pizza and wings it’s probably worth it!
Pricey and mediocre food.. I have had just about everything here and I have to say the wings are pretty good…when they are cooked all the way. Be prepared to fork over 40 bucks or more for a meal, unless you are alone. The pizza is bland and the cheese doesn’t even taste real. The menu looks great, as far as the ingredient combinations and such but the owner doesn’t want to hear the truth about things that need improvement and flavor. He is unapproachable so don’t even bother. If you want good pizza head over to Village Inn or Sorrento’s,
Wings are undercooked and have a smokey BBQ sauce flavor, overpriced, poor service. Pizza crust bland and processed tasting.
I ordered the greek salad just to hold me over till I could eat supper. It had all the right ingredients, but could have been better prepared. The lettuce head was cut into large chunks. This made it not so enjoyable. If I were to rate based upon the salad alone, I would have to go with a did not like.
