It is good for statesville. As far as i can tell, it is american thai, and most likely it is as good as it can be.
More Japanese than Thai, but great. Definitely coming back when passing thru Statesville.
This place is delicious. I discovered it a few years back while driving through nc on 40. It’s about 200 miles from my house, so I don’t eat there often, but I make it a point to hit it every time I drive past Statesville. Anyway, it’s worth a stop. It’s one of my favorite Thai places anywhere. I love the pad Thai, but I went with the pad kee Mao this time, and it was even better. Amazing food as usual.
Wonderful Food. Chopstix is a place I know I can be guaranteed good food and good service. The wait staff is super polite and attentive to my family when we dine there, and are always helpful when we want to try something new on the menu.The food makes my mouth water even as I type this. For starters, if you haven’t tried their basil rolls, I highly suggest you do- they are light, crisp, fragrant, and flavorful, and go great with the included dipping sauce. Likewise their sampler plate is good enough to be a meal by it’s self.For a main course, there are many things to choose from. I personally enjoy a green curry, with sticky rice. Portions are large enough that I always end up with extra to take home.There’s also no fear of getting a dish that’s too hot either, because they can prepare it as mild or spicy as you like. I personally enjoy a little sweat on my brow when I eat curry, but to each his own- if you want all the flavor and none of the heat, they can do that too.If you’re looking for something besides burgers and fries in Statesville, there aren’t many options. Luckily Chpstix is so darn good.
Great portions and price. Rice soup very good. Not very spicy, so definitely ask for 3-4 if you want a little kick. Could do without chicken in dishes and just get with vegetables.
