Friendly Folks – Good Food. Small combination restaurant/dairy bar located just off of I-77. They occupy the west end of the building and a motorcycle shop occupied the other end. The theme is motorcycles but by no means is this a biker restaurant. Restaurant is very family oriented.Went in today and had a pork Bar-B-Que sandwich which was excellent. Good taste, good consistency and definately not fatty and the sauce did not over power the taste of the meat.You order at the counter but you have the option of eating in or carry out. Staff is very curteous and efficient and are a pleasure to work with.As far as atmosphere, needless to say there are two Harley’s on display but again, this is a family restaurant and definately not a biker bar. The restaurant is in of itself, immaculate. Not the first sign and any dust anywhere.One more thing and that’s the fact that while they don’t advertize it, there is a 15% discount for those over 50. I questioned why my bill did not add up and I was told of their policy at that time. They should really put up a sign someplace and let the patrons know of this special little extra benifit.First time there today and I will be back.
