Good Home Cooking. Drove over for lunch today and found it to be excellent. Now I know why the locals like it so much.First thing that hits you went you walk through the front door is the cleanliness. This place is spotless with excellent lighting and this is from someone who runs a food and drug plant.Staff is very friendly and they do take good care of you. I walked in and was told to seat myself. I did and with trepidation because all too often, in those cases you get lost.Not here. Server was there with just a couple of seconds with a menu and took my drink order. When she returned with my iced tea, she took my order and it was back to my table in less than 10 minutes.For lunch, I had a Cheeseburger all of the way except without slaw. Here in the Carolina’s, you order a burger or hot dog all they way, you’re going to get slaw on it.Cheeseburger was excellent. Don’t know what they use but it is good beef. Not greasy but at the same time, not dry. Very generous with the onions which I like but my friends back at the office knew immediately that I had had onions for lunch. The fries I had for lunch were excellent although could have spent about 15 seconds more in the frier to give them a bit more crispy texture on the outside.All in all, I was in and out of the restaurant within 30 minutes and never once felt rushed. Good experience.
