How did I miss this Gem. I’ve working in Statesville for almost 4 years now and I knew about this place but never got around to trying it till yesterday. Very unassuming and campe on the outside but looks are deceiving.Went yesterday for their lunch special with a colleage from work. We were both surprised. It’s an all you can eat buffet with salad bar, pasta and soups for just under $7 bucks.Needless to say, you can get a lot of junk for $7 but not in this case. You can get a lot of high quality food for $7 at this place.Tried about 5 different pizza and with the exception of the chocolate pizza (never been a fan of dessert pizzas) everything was great. It’s a NY style thin crust with exactly the right texture and taste. Plenty to toppings and a good balance. When we walked in, the hostess asked my associate if there were anythings that he like on pizza. He replied that he did like anchovies (like me) and onions and low and behold, within 10 minutes a nice fresh pizza garnished with anchovies appeared. I know not everyone like anchovies but the fact that one appeared demonstrated to us that this restaurant was responsive to their customer.Service is excellent. Place is small however and a bit dated and the carpet could use cleaning but minor points to the whole dining experience.Price is excellent, good food and service and the fact that it’s visible and just off exit 50 on I-77 makes this a great find for locals and travelers alike.I strong recommend to fellow pizza lovers.

The Best. This is my favorite of all the Village Inn Pizza locations. They have a good pizza buffet and good salad bar.
