Very nice people, horrible food, I’m white and can make better Mexican food. Rice was super dry the best was the beans which isn’t saying much. Again not real Mexican food it’s as American as it comes.
My favorite Mexican restaurant in south Charlotte. Generous portions at a good price. Super nachos concarne is usually my first choice. I have never been charged for refills, and water is free. Great guacamole and generous portions of free chips.
If mariachi are performing they charge for refills!!!!!!!! The manager said mariachi are expensive. The menu said nothing about the extra charges. Best Mexican in Charlotte!!. I’m so fortunate that this is my local Mexican restaurant! We go to Don Pedro’s at least twice a month and have for years. The Puerco Carnitas are to die for and the margaritas are yummy!
This has got to be the BEST Mexican restaurant in all of Charlotte! We drive 30 miles just to eat here rather then going to our local establishment. The food is excellent, the service is always wonderful, and the price is great! The portions are so big that I can order one meal for myself and a child to share. Love this place!

The Search is Over. I moved to Charlotte a little over two years ago and spent about 9 months looking for a decent Mexican restaurant. I tried so many places that I was beginning to lose hope, until……..Don Pedro in Pineville, NC!! What a spectacular restaurant. The portions are enormous, the chips and salsa arrive immediately upon being seated and come with unlimited refills, and the guacamole chef…supurb. The guacamole is made fresh tableside and I think I have that to blame for the 10 lbs I’ve gained. Since discovering Don Pedro, I have never given a second thought to finding another Mexican restaurant. If only they had a frequent visitor card….
