Pretty good sport for mexican food. I had lunch fajitas and they were good. I also tried a new peach tea which was good but very pricy at almost $5. Service was ok.
The most recent visit I had, I had gotten a jalapeo margarita that was delicious but after having two very large glasses, it became apparent to me that there was barley any alcohol in my margarita. For $10 a pop, the drink was not worth juice and some jalapeos. Disappointed because salsa’s had always been my go to spot. The food and service was great. Definitely some of the best Mexican in South Charlotte.
Servers don’t want to be there — why should I?. On two separate days, my servers asked me to pay my bills because they wanted to go home. One, in particular, said that she had had a rough morning, and just wanted to leave. While I understand we all have rough days, it’s not appropriate to tell your customers about it — or to ask them to pay their bills early. Despite the good chips and salsa, I don’t feel as though this restaurant really wants my business, so I will take it elsewhere.
