I didn’t like the reviews of this place, but it’s close to home and my friend raved about it. So? We loved it! My husband had a special, Cajun chicken Alfredo, but I wasn’t as brave so just got a swiss cheese/mushroom burger, which wasn’t on the menu, but they were really great about doing it. It was the best burger I’ve had in a long time with more yummy fries than we could finish. His Cajun pasta was even better! We basically fought over it! 😉 Anyway, I’m confused about all the haters. Fantastic staff, great atmosphere. Definitely going to be a regular there!

Worst dining experience ever. I attended a retirement dinner last night and there was nothing I can say that is positive. Through the years I have enjoyed eating at the Grid Iron but I will never dine at this restaurant again. For approximately 40 people we had 2 servers. One server had only started the day before. The food was deplorable. The baked potato was tiny and hard as a rock. The top round steak was not a steak nor am I sure it was even beef. No one was quite sure what kind of meat it was. Our choices for beverages were water or iced tea. One person asked for coffee (and had made a special request for it on our sign up). The server said NO only water or tea. He was too polite to ask a second time. They did bring his coffee AT THE END OF THE MEAL. Not the beginning when he asked for it. I ordered a beverage from the bar which took 20 minutes to arrive. Since I purchased a drink they did not serve me the water I asked for. I had to get my own water and use the bar glass. There was nothing acceptable about the evening and I will not return. For our school, it was the topic of the day. All reviews were the same. Terrible.

Amazing family, service, food, place!. I went for Easter breakfast with my husband and children after church, this is the first time we chose to go for breakfast hoping for a great experience after the good start to our Easter. They had an Easter buffet, on both sides of the restaurant was a buffet. One side with breakfast, and the other with lunch/dinner foods and delicious desserts. Youd think they would separate the buffets at a different cost depending on what you got. But no! They had it to where you would pay one price for adults and one price for children, and you could eat off any and all of the buffets! And, our toddler ate for free! On any other days, the children eat for free, i guess on easter they had to be be paid for, but it was not unreasonable by any means, and our youngest did eat free. Whatever you wanted, they had a great variety. Kept the buffets filled and if something was low, they had more fresh and hot food out in that tray immediately. My server (Danni) had all the condiments we needed on our table at the same time our coffees and drinks came out, filled our coffees before they were even half empty, we didnt ask for water for ourselves or for our children who had juiceboxes, but she brought them for us with our coffee and for our kids as well which was great because the kids’ juiceboxes obviously are not so much to drink. I thought she was very attentive and really made us feel like she WANTED us to have a wonderful experience despite how busy she was. The table beside us whom she was also serving, i also heard them (was an elderly couple) tell her that they greatly appreciated her service as well and they told her she was very attentive and gave great service especially for how busy she was. She was truly nice, not only because she had to be. Needless to say now, i loved our service, but we also noticed the other servers running around, and most of them seemed to really have it together as well! Seems like this place has great service and really knows what theyre doing… the food stayed hot and truly tasty. We took advantage of all 3 buffets, and the dessert. This was the first time we had been back since they first opened, and since, i believe they’ve made changes for the BETTER. The service now is better than it could possibly be, and we are definitely pleased with their menus (as we took a look at them for when we come back, because we WILL be back to sit with danni again)! I recommend this place NOW to ALL! Very DIFFERENT restaurant in the Steele Creek area, but in such a great way. You will not find another restaurant like this, especially a family restaurant in this area.

I loved it! My husband and I went the other night and ordered the chicken parmesan, and the veal marsala. Both entrees were sensational! The garlic bread came out first along with our salads that came with our meal, the service was amazing! I forget her name but she was just the sweetest server Ive had in a while who truly cared about our service and experience. Between the food and our experience with her, it was a great night out. The amount of food we got with our meals was definitely worth the money, which really was not unreasonable at all. We also met the owner, Joe, after our meal, we disnt have to guess judging by the food and the red sauce, but his accent definitwly gave it away that this place and family is truly italian! There were plenty other choices on the menu aside from italian food, but my suggestion would be to definitely try it! We will definitely be back. Thanks so much for the great food and service!

I have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. They are kid friendly and the best homemade Italian food.
