My wife and I enjoyed Pirates Landing a while back on a trip from NY with our granddaughter. The building and decor are interesting and fun. The dining room was quite empty, but we were late on a Sunday evening. We stopped again yesterday. Again we found few people in the dining room (after 8:00 Sunday again). I had the flounder and popcorn shrimp from the Sunday special menu and my wife had the tortellini with a salad. Both dishes were delicious and the portions were generous. Her salad was very nice, the lettuce was fresh and crisp, and the portion was large. My shrimp were tender and tasty, not overcooked. The flounder was also fresh and cooked perfectly. Neither of us could finish everything. The waitress and staff were attentive and courteous. She kept our drinks full and brought fresh hush puppies (which were also very tasty) until we told her to stop. If it wasnt so far from our home we would definitely eat there more often and bring the grandkids. I will recommend it to our friends.
