While traveling we stayed at the Hampton Inn in Dobson. We decided to try The Depot! Great choice. 45 minute wait though. Beautiful grounds to walk around . Cute little general store but not well stocked. I was disappointed that there were no trains at this store. Our food was very good. Best steak salad I ever had. Great house dressing. Great service. Bottomless ice tea! I will go back!

I do not like web pages that play music without asking me first if I want to hear them….I do not like a web page with a black background and difficult navigation.I do not like a web page that has no way to leave a comment.I doubt I will ever eat in their property when there are much better places in the area that have much better websites to review their menu offerings.
I have been here a few times. It isn’t the BEST steak around but it’s pretty good and there is a large variety on the menu. The atmosphere is pretty nice. The place gets crowded on the weekends.
Beautiful place. In my visit to Mayberry I was told that I should visit this beautiful restaurant and I am so glad I did! It was however, a little out of the way. The atmosphere is remarkable. The food was excellent. My husband loved the ribs. The service was quick and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend this place.
WOW Great Place. The food was wonderful, Service was quick and friendly. It is a bit out of the way if you are in Mt Airy N. C. but worth the drive…
