Fresh Local Seafood at Cgreat Prices- Swansboro Yacht Club. After driving by what looked like a Biker Bar and trashed out building for 15 years, we finally saw a sign that said to us, stop in and visit: STEAMED OYSTERS. Yep, this place is small and being improved, but it is the perfect Key West style beach area restaurant with an awesome outdoor deck facing the west on the inland water. It’s nothing fancy, has pool tables, and two bars with a super friendly wait staff and owner. Most important, the sign is true- FRESH local oysters, clams and fish, plus other items. These were some of the best, briny, large oysters I’ve had in this area, bar none. And, CHEAP. A dozen for $8.95. Even cheaper at other times. I had fried clams, and they were fantastic- fresh shucked and whole, not frozen strips. Domestic beer on tap was $.75 special. The owner showed us the Cowboy Rib Eye steaks they cut and serve and it looked awesome. One for $32 and change will feed two. We’ve been twice now, and we’re going to be regulars here. It’s the best value in Swansboro, Emerald Isle and Morehead City, especially if you want fresh, great oysters. Eat fresh and Save!

It’s Really Not a Yacht Club. The name’s a joke so know that ahead of time. GREAT pizza – VERY large – decent price. For a bar it’s pretty clean.
