My husband and I have dined here a few times and was very unsatisfied every time. There is no thought or quality out into the menu. It’s just over priced food gross food that matches the atmosphere.

Marinara tastes like Ragu and my husband couldn’t even cut through his veal. Terrible food especially for the price!
Raw Chicken. Took my wife here for her birthday dinner. She ordered the Mediterranean stuffed chicken and was served a raw chicken breast. I had the veal parmagianna. All I can say good about it was that it was done. The portion was tiny. The amount of pasta and vegetables was beyond meager and both were very bland. The food and drinks were all overpriced. They provided a tiny portion of bread. Take my word for it, DON’T EAT HERE.
I do not understand all the negative reviews…. My husband and I had an exceptional lunch here a few weeks ago…the food (especially the open face seared tuna sandwich) and service were wonderful. I can only assume that the people who are writing these terrible things about the bistro are absolutely devoid of taste…
Wonderful restaurant in Swansboro. My friend and I had dinner at three different restaurants in Swansboro during our visit and this was by far our favorite. The food was delicious (especially the desserts!) the service was perfect, and the setting was charming and beautiful on the river. Highly recommended.
