Myra’s is a fun retro little hang out, decorated in 50’s motif. The menu for shakes was set way back from the registers and on two different colored banners. We had come in specifically for their old fashioned shakes and were somewhat confused because the lists were not specific on what the differences were. When we did figure out how to order, we came away with delicious shakes-one of the best I’ve ever had- that we would highly recommend. The only other comment is that we noticed that the picture windows, swinging door going back to the kitchen, and the girls uniforms were filthy. The food was great but the uncleanliness was distasteful!
Myra’s was opend in the late 1950’s, the current owner has done his best to keep Myra’s in the original state. Although the little parlor has had an additional front room added it has not changed the kindness and joy the parlor shares with the community. The menu having everything from flounder fish plates to roast beef melts and even hamburger state plates a large variety of foods. The ice cream parlor located to the left of the building with a bar and stools to watch the employees create your desired shake, banana split, even diptops, and parfaits. There are to many wonderful things to choose from on the menu. The menus affordable, HD combos, hamburger combos, and CBBQ combos all between $4.00-$5.05. The most expensive item may be the plates.
