Good. Food is good, service was fair. If you’re craving pizza it’s a great place to go. For pasta or other fare, there’s better in town, in the same price range. It’s a very busy place and fairly crowded, so get there early. Not at all gluten-free.
Great Pizza- Mediocre Service. This is by far the best pizza in Fuquay hands down. However the service is mediocre at best.
Good pizza restaurants must do two foundational things well: bread and cheese. Assaggio’s does both well. I have never been disappointed with any menu item. Prices for entrees are a bit steep, but I can’t think of a place that serves comparable pasta dishes for less.
Over all I liked it. However it was over priced! If they had it setup so you were waited on and not ordering standing up their prices would be forgivable. For an example plain alfrado is 10.99 add chic or shrimp add 4.09.
Terrible. The lasagna tasted sour. The service was despicable. Did not want to refund money after returned horrible food. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
Pizza That Tastes GREAT!. Tom McGrath is the owner of Assaggio’s in Fuquay Varina. This small pizzeria is another best kept secret in this town. They use only fresh ingredients because they care about the flavor of their food. Sure you could get cheap pizza from any chain, but that’s what you get CHEAP PIZZA! I’ve been a loyal customer for over 4 years and you’ll see why when you check out Assaggio’s!
Yummy. I don’t think there is anything I’ve eaten there that I didn’t like. My favorite is their Bruschetta. Can’t get enough. They have a new web page with a menu at – http://www.assaggios-fuquay.com/menu.htm
