El Lobo is another addition to the growing number of mexican restaurants in Fuquay Varina. The exterior is nothing special, but the windows are very dark tint so it is hard to know if they are open or how busy they are. Inside is clean and open but very sparsely decorated. Menu is typical with little deviation from all the other traditional restaurants in the area (Fiesta mexicana, los tres, mi casitas).Service is good and quick. Food is what you would expect. I’ve been there 3 times and its good, but nothing special. When you want Mexican food with a short drive it is the best in the area. It is nothing great, but delivers what you want with good pricing and speed. The high score is mainly due to them delivering on what they promise, but not full points due to not being anything special.
