Such a awesome experience!. I found this coffee shop by accident and the first time I went in I started to no order anything and just leave because Im not really a coffee drinker never seen the point in paying $4 for a drink lol anyway the guy was really nice and talked to me about a couple drinks and I ordered it was a little stronger in coffee flavor than I thought it would be but it was delicious I have tried a new menu Item every day so far and I am yet to have a favorite because they are all SOOO good! But the one that is my Go to Drink is the White chocolate mud slide frappe which is amazing!!! 🙂 I am part of their reward program AND a wake Tech student So I get a discount which is great too!!! Love this place
Why go anywhere else.. If you have never been to Electric Beanz Coffee Bar then you are missing out on one of the best coffee experiences around. Walking in the door you are greeted by any one of several baristas that can prepare that perfect cup of coffee you are looking for. Have a favorite that is not listed on their menu? No problem. They are up for the challenge. Terri Voltz also tries to bring something different to the coffee bar world by having the coffee roaster from Stockton Graham & company come in to hold cupping and educational events. Need to know something about coffee? This is where to go to get the answers. If you do happen to stop in ask to be put on their newsletter list. Upcoming events such as live music, coffee classes and trivia nights are listed in the newsletter as well as monthly specials.Bottom line, you owe it to yourself to stop in, meet the staff and enjoy a great cup of joe.
Awesome Mango Smoothie. They have friendly baristas. They offer several pastries (I saw scones, cookies, cupcakes, danishes). They can make any drink that requires espresso shots. They have several comfy seats, although I’d like for them to have armchairs. They have a bar and bar stools just behind the espresso machines. They have a card-less rewards program. They offer gluten-free items. I saw a magazine rack. They have a corner where a group of people can sit together. They make a really good mango smoothie. I grew up in the Philippines where we locally grown mangoes is available most of the year and the mango smoothie in Electric Beanz nailed the taste. Coffee-wise, I’ve only had their Americano, and only twice but it’s really good; you could tell the shots weren’t old. It’s a really good spot to get coffee and relax while waiting for the next class at Wake Tech or just to chill out with friends.
