If you scream for Ice Cream, come to Angier. This is going to be a quick and easy review, I really like ice cream and have eaten it in about a dozen countries around the world – I would put Sunny Sky’s up against anyone, anywhere.Have to say that I’m lucky to live four miles away here in Angier and our first visit was when they’d only been open for about a week and the only employees in the store were a very young Sunni, Skylar, and their Dad.
Totally worth the tri p and every penny.
So good…and I didn’t realize the wall on the left had MORE flavors! Don’t miss those! Guess that means I will have to visit again soon 🙂
Hands down the best I’ve ever had. I practically live here during the spring and summer. There are tons of great flavors to chose from, very friendly staff, practically unlimited samples, and the best part: it’s cheap! My favorite, along with most locals is the cake batter, there’s just nothing like it. It’s a great place to just relax and enjoy and I know that it’s become a study break haven and dietary staple for CU students.There are only two possible downsides:1.) They don’t take credit or debit cards2.) It’s a little out of the way for most people (so glad this isn’t an issue for me!) but it is more than worth it for the drive out.
Oh yeah! AWESOME ICE CREAM!!!! I love the Oatmeal Cookie! Yum! Go there! Splurge! Did I mention YUM?!?!!

The people that work there are not that friendly and their uniforms look like they’ve never been washed. The ice-cream and prices are okay but wished they were alot cleaner.
